Notify User for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Turn any record note into a tracked task with one click.

In older versions of Business Central (up to version 14), saving a note on any record allowed you to notify another user about it. That feature was removed in newer versions. Notify User brings it back and takes it further: multi-recipient tasks, Teams channel notifications, read receipts, and a complete sent notifications dashboard.

What Makes Notify User Different

  • Works everywhere - Save a note on any record in the system (customer card, sales order, purchase invoice, etc.) and the notification dialog appears automatically.

  • Multiple recipients - Send the same notification to several users at once, or to an entire User Task Group. Use @mentions in note text to pre-fill recipients.

  • Teams integration - Post notifications to Microsoft Teams channels via webhooks for group tasks, or send direct messages to individual recipients. Configure per-group webhooks on User Task Groups.

  • Full tracking - See when recipients viewed your task, monitor all sent notifications from a single dashboard, and track completion status.
