Get Notify User installed and configured in a few minutes.

What's in Getting Started​

Quick Start Get up and running with your first notification in under two minutes. Covers the basic note-to-task workflow.

Teams Setup Configure Microsoft Teams notifications: group channel webhooks using Power Automate Workflows and individual DMs.

Installation​

  1. Open Business Central

  2. Go to Extension Management (search for it in the Tell Me bar)

  3. Search for Notify User by JEMEL in Microsoft AppSource

  4. Install the extension

  5. No additional setup is required for basic functionality

After installation, saving a note on any record will automatically show the notification dialog.

Licensing​

Notify User offers two paid subscription plans:

Plan​

All core features are included:

  • Create notifications from notes

  • Multi-recipient support with @mentions

  • User Task Group assignment

  • Priority and due dates

  • Sent notifications dashboard

  • Read receipts

  • Claim workflow

  • Source Notes FactBox

Plus​

Everything in Plan, plus:

  • Email notifications - Send email to recipients when creating a task (Send or Preview and Send)

  • Teams notifications - Post formatted messages to Microsoft Teams channels via webhooks

On-premises installations have full access to all features regardless of subscription plan.
