Automated Workflows
Automate notifications from any Business Central event, without writing code.
Starting with version 3, Notify User integrates with the native Business Central Workflow Engine. Instead of manually creating notifications from notes, you can set up workflows that automatically create User Tasks, send emails, and post Teams channel messages when business events occur.
How It Works
Business Central's Workflow Engine operates on an Event - Condition - Response model:

Event - Something happens in the system (a sales order is released, a vendor record changes, etc.)

Condition - Optional filters (only when Document Type = Order, only when Amount > 5000, etc.)

Response - An action to take. Notify User registers "Create Notify User Notification" as a response.
When the event fires and the conditions are met, the Notify User response automatically creates User Tasks and delivers notifications through all configured channels.

Notify User ships with three workflow templates. Each template is a pre-configured workflow that you enable and customize.
